Since developing an interest in fashion in high school, fall/winter has always been my favorite season because of its heavy fabrics, its bold statements, and its beautiful shapes. But this summer, Ann Taylor has me feeling a little bit differently because of their new arrivals this season.
So, in today's video, I want to discuss Ann Taylor's newest arrivals for Summer 2026 and what I think they mean for fashion and where it's headed. Then, I want to end by discussing why I think Ann Taylor is a brand that's making the world a better place by empowering confidence in women through clothing.
Hi everyone. I'm Joshua Miller, and welcome to my YouTube channel. I create videos on fashion, pop music, and Pokémon so that way you can live with style, confidence, and enthusiasm. And because style is my favorite subject, today I want to talk about the newest arrivals for Summer 2026 from one of my favorite brands, Ann Taylor.
So, without further ado, let's get to it.
This summer, Ann Taylor wants to empower you to go with the flow, lead with confidence, and shine as your highest and brightest self in the workplace.
But I must say, it's the straight and tighter fits that really excite me about this collection. Recently, I've been really excited by the idea of straight-legged pants and maybe even skinny jeans coming back into style just because I think they do such a great job of elongating and accenting the height of the wearer.
From a color and fabric perspective, you can definitely start to feel a pre-fall aesthetic starting to emerge across this collection. The colors are all very relaxed, which allows the outfits to shine based on the way they're styled without just one piece or one fabric taking all of the attention.
But don't get me wrong. The prints here are still really, really beautiful. You guys know how much I love print-on-print. I just feel like it's so exciting and vibrant, and it takes such a strong eye for craftsmanship and styling to pull off well. But when it's pulled off well, I feel like it really shows that personal style and having a personality through the way that you dress never go out of style, and they're some of the most timeless ideas in fashion.
I also have to give a shout-out to the slingback pumps here. I've been so into this type of shoe recently just because I feel like it does a really good job of highlighting the ankle.
To me, great fashion design shouldn't cover the human body. It should accent its natural beauty, and I feel like a slingback pump does that well just by elongating the foot and creating such a striking and powerfully feminine shape.
Lastly, I want to take a moment to highlight the beautiful accessories that Ann Taylor is selling this season. To start, I really, really like these bags. I think they all have a very, very strong shape and just a luxurious aesthetic to them.
I also really appreciate the scarves that they're selling as well. I feel like there are just so many different ways that you could wear a scarf. You could wear it as a headband, you could wear it as a bracelet, or you could wear it as a tie.
For jewelry, I just feel like there's so much here to love. All of these pieces would make a great gift because they could very easily become someone's favorite, regardless of what their taste or aesthetic is.
So, to conclude, I'm just really excited by what Ann Taylor is doing right now. At its core, fashion is about so much more than silly trends. It's about getting dressed in the morning, looking in the mirror, and seeing someone smiling back at you who inspires you to be the best that you can possibly be.
I feel like, through their unwavering commitment to who they are, Ann Taylor has always been able to contribute this to the fashion marketplace, which is just why I love Ann Taylor.
